Uber Joins the Ibotta Performance Network

The wall between traditional retail and delivery has collapsed. Today, Ibotta announced an exclusive, multi-year partnership with Uber Technologies to integrate Ibotta-powered digital promotions directly into the Uber ecosystem. This partnership further strengthens the Ibotta Performance Network’s (IPN) position in the market and its coverage across the third-party grocery delivery landscape.

This marks the first time Uber has entered into a multi-year exclusive agreement with a national digital promotions provider. For CPG brands, this collaboration offers a direct path to shoppers at the final stage of the funnel — the point of purchase — allowing them to influence the sale right when the customer is ready to buy.

This integration places high-value savings in the palms of millions of Uber users in the U.S. for everyday grocery, retail, home care, and personal care items. Offers will initially debut within the Uber Eats app, with plans to expand across grocery and retail items in the Uber and Postmates apps later this year. This expansion within the Uber ecosystem builds upon the significant investments Uber has already made in its delivery business, growing its footprint with major retailers like Albertsons, Aldi, Kroger, and Wegmans.
